Making a music video in Bedworth
The group of young people attending our On Track programme in Bedworth have been hard at work producing a music video.
The students have been attending music and media training at Bedworth Youth Centre, and today is their last day.
On Track delivery
Hybrid Arts are currently delivering our third installment of media and music training to young people in Bedworth as part of the ESF funded On Track programme, in partnership with North Warwickshire and Hinckley College and the Connexions Service.
Stanley’s impressive photo manipulation
Stanley, one of our students on the Year 10 Re@ctiv8 programme, has vectorised this photograph in Adobe Photoshop as part of his Interactive Media training.
Vector images retain their crisp edges at any enlargement. You can draw vector shapes and paths in images and add vector masks to control what is shown in an image.
Fantastic Achievement at our Campion Studio
The bright and talented students in the Year 12 and 13 Creative Technology groups at Campion School have just completed the work for their final creative project – and the finished results are something they should be very proud of.
Free video mash up sessions
Hybrid Arts are offering free digital mash ups this half term. For one day only, young people can drop into our video editing workshops, which are being held at Coventry Transport Museum on Saturday 5th June from 10am, followed by a public screening of the work from 4.30 to 5pm.
MACE Visit
Tim Ellis, Creative Director and Kerry Mawby, Media Technical Assistant, visited MACE (Media Archive for Central England) to view archive footage they hope to use in a project.
Henry VIII Trust
Hybrid Arts are pleased to announce we have received funding from the Henry VIII Endowed Trust to deliver creative technology training sessions in Warwick this coming half term.

Return of the Jackdaw
After a pause of eighteen years, Tim Ellis has instigated the return of Jackdaw with Crowbar, the seminal multi media group. The group were pioneers in the field of multi projection film montage as performance with live music in the eighties and early nineties.
Hybrid Musical Youth Podcast
Having received funding from Youth Music, Hybrid Arts has launched its Wednesday sessions, Hybrid Musical Youth at Indestructible Music Club on Althorpe Street. The sessions began earlier in the year, and have seen a consistently high number of participants since it began.
