Extraordinary Cycles, the groundbreaking partnership project between Hybrid Arts and Coventry Transport Museum, is hurtling into the next phase and generating much interest from all quarters of both the sport and art worlds, not to mention the local community. Bubble
In partnership with London based software developers SPC we are creating a new way of public interaction with mobile devices. Bubble is a Bluetooth ‘push pull’ system that anyone in range can upload digital content to and receive content from. The system runs from a server that accepts any digital content that your phone uses
Narrowing the gap for local young people
Our Narrowing the Gap project has been a great success, culminating in young musicians selling their music at Leamington’s farmer’s market at the end April. Funded by Warwick District Council, the project was set up to maximise income for local young people by encouraging enterprising activity. The Learning and Skills Council have provided funds for us to purchase new equipment and a vehicle to enable us to deliver creative technology training anywhere with a focus on the north of the county.

Ending another academic year at Campion School
Hybrid Arts are proud to have completed another year delivering creative technology sessions at Campion School. Students in Years 12 and 13 have been learning Photoshop, Flash, Final Cut Pro and Motion as part of their final projects.

Indestructible Music Club host Peace Festival
Battle of the Bands
Indestructible Music Club was approached to host the Leamington Peace Festival Battle of the Bands for young bands that submitted demo’s to the festival committee. The judging took place on 6th of June and the winners were Heroin Hospital and Hang the DJ.

Magalhaes visits Turkey
