| Inspired by
the "Graffiti Research Lab (GRL)- an of-shoot of "Eye Beam
Open Lab " in
America - this project gives our local grafitti artists a new and
exciting way to add colour and messages to the urban landscape. |
 |
The technique
involves the use of LED light bulbs, a lithium battery and a small
magnet. GRL won a prize at the 2006 Ars Electronica for their approach
to graffiti and are openly encouraging others to join in.

 |
The great thing
about the electronic graffiti is that its renewable.
The LED's and magnets can all be reused and we have a very strong
policy on recycling batteries at the end of their life.
In addition it does not damage property. |
